Anaheim Council Approves $1.9B Disneyland Expansion in 7-0 Vote

The Anaheim City Council has unanimously approved the DisneylandForward proposal, a $1.9 billion multidecade expansion plan for the Disneyland Resort. The plan, which aims to develop new theme park areas, hotels, and entertainment facilities around existing parks, was passed with a 7-0 vote early Wednesday. This decision came after a critical vote was scheduled for Tuesday, with a second vote required at the next council meeting on May 7 if the initial approval was granted.
