A devastating rain-triggered landslide struck Yuelin Village in the city of Hengyang, central China's Hunan Province on Sunday morning, resulting in multiple casualties. As of 11:30 a.m., 17 individuals have been rescued from the site, with 15 confirmed dead and six injured. The landslide, which occurred around 8 a.m., washed away part of a residential house and destroyed a one-story hostel. The injured have been transported to the hospital for treatment.
