The head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has announced that a cooling tower at Ukraine's Russian-occupied Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant has been severely damaged in a fire that occurred last month. The damage is so extensive that the tower will likely need to be demolished. The fire, which took place on August 12, rendered the structure unusable.
