Additionally, the FDA has been criticized for allegedly overestimating the benefit-risk ratio of the mRNA vaccine for males aged 18-25 by more than 60 times, based on new data regarding Omicron and myocarditis. The CDC's new guidelines recommend that infants aged 6 months and older receive three COVID-19 vaccinations, despite claims that there is insufficient scientific evidence demonstrating a reduction in hospitalizations or deaths. Critics argue that this recommendation may contribute to growing public distrust in health authorities, as the hospitalization and death rates from COVID-19 among infants and children are low.
