Mallori Patrice Strait Arrested in Texas for Allegedly Flushing Baby Girl Down Toilet at Whataburger
Dec 24, 2024, 10:35 PM
Mallori Patrice Strait, a 33-year-old woman, has been arrested in San Antonio, Texas, on charges of abuse of a corpse after allegedly attempting to flush a fetus down a toilet at a Whataburger restaurant. Strait entered the restaurant around midnight and spent two hours in the bathroom, where she reportedly gave birth to a baby girl who was found still in the amniotic sac. During her time in the bathroom, Strait was heard making noises, and was offered water by the restaurant manager who later called the police due to concern for her well-being. Upon arrival, authorities discovered 'human like material' in the restroom. The baby was pronounced dead at the hospital, and Strait was about 28 to 30 weeks pregnant at the time of the incident. The infant appeared to have suffered head injuries, suggesting she may have been forcibly pushed down the toilet. As she was being transported to the hospital, Strait apologized, saying 'I'm sorry, I'm not selfish.' The Bexar County Medical Examiner is working to determine the exact cause of the infant's death. Strait remains in custody at the Bexar County Jail under a $100,000 bond.
