Lamar Jackson Leads AP All-Pro Team with 30 Votes; Chase, Jefferson Unanimous Picks
Jan 10, 2025, 05:01 PM
The Associated Press has released its 2024 NFL All-Pro Team, with Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson leading the selections as the First-Team All-Pro quarterback after receiving 30 first-place votes. Jackson, now a three-time First-Team All-Pro (2019, 2023, 2024), outpaced Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, who received 18 votes and was named to the Second Team, and Joe Burrow, who received two votes. This positions Jackson as a strong favorite for the MVP award, continuing the trend since 2013 where every First-Team All-Pro quarterback has also won MVP. Wide receivers Ja'Marr Chase of the Cincinnati Bengals and Justin Jefferson of the Minnesota Vikings were unanimous All-Pro selections. Joining them on the First-Team offense are Eagles running back Saquon Barkley, earning his first All-Pro honor, and Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown. On defense, Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett was named a First-Team All-Pro with a stellar PFF grade of 92.3, after being awarded PFF's 2024 Defensive Player of the Year. The Ravens led the NFL with four First-Team All-Pro selections: Jackson, fullback Patrick Ricard, linebacker Roquan Smith, and cornerback Marlon Humphrey. The Eagles also had multiple All-Pro selections, with linebacker Zack Baun joining Barkley on the First Team and several players on the Second Team, including wide receiver A.J. Brown and tackles Jordan Mailata and Lane Johnson.
