Tesla has officially surpassed the milestone of delivering over 7 million electric vehicles worldwide. As of January 2, 2025, the total number of vehicles delivered since the production of the Model S began in 2012 stands at 7,186,380. This achievement includes the recent sales of the 7,250,000th Tesla, marking a significant year for the company. In addition to this milestone, Tesla has also reported the production of over 100 million 4680 battery cells and the delivery of its 1 millionth Model Y. The company has continued to enhance its offerings, shipping more than 300 features to owners through free over-the-air software updates throughout the year.
