The Open Network (TON), associated with Telegram, has released the whitepaper for TON Teleport BTC, a new cross-chain bridge designed to facilitate the transfer of Bitcoin into and out of the TON blockchain ecosystem. The project, currently in its testnet phase, aims to achieve mainnet conversion in the second quarter of 2025. TON Teleport BTC introduces Bitcoin liquidity to Telegram, allowing users to securely transfer Bitcoin between blockchains in a decentralized and trustless manner. The testnet will run until 2025.
