China Sanctions US Military Firms, Senior Execs, Freezes Assets Over Taiwan Arms Sales

The United States has sanctioned four companies in Hong Kong, South Africa, and the United Kingdom for allegedly using Western and NATO sources to train Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) aircrew. In response, China has imposed sanctions on several U.S. military firms and senior executives over arms sales to Taiwan. The Chinese Foreign Ministry announced that it will freeze the assets of American companies including Anduril Industries, Maritime Tactical Systems, Pacific Rim Defense, AEVEX Aerospace, LKD Aerospace, and Summit Technologies.
