Solana Unveils Seeker Smartphone with 140,000 Pre-Orders, $70M Revenue, Shipping in 2025

Solana Mobile has unveiled its second-generation web3 smartphone, named Seeker, which has already garnered over 140,000 pre-orders and $70 million in pre-order revenue. The Seeker, set to ship in 2025, features significant upgrades over its predecessor, the Saga, including a 108+32 Megapixel camera, 8GB of RAM, 128GB storage, and a built-in crypto wallet. It will also offer exclusive innovations such as the Seed Vault Wallet, dApp Store 2.0, Seeker Genesis Token, and tokenized AI agents in collaboration with Alethea AI. Additionally, the device will include four months of free Helium Mobile service and will be priced between $450 and $500. Solana Labs General Manager Emmett Hollyer emphasized that the Seeker aims to be more than just a 'memecoin phone,' positioning it as a 'rewards magnet' for users. The pre-order growth has been driven significantly by new markets, with over half of sales from the Asia-Pacific region. The Seeker was revealed at the Token2049 event and has pre-orders from 57 countries.
