SoftBank CEO Masayoshi Son has predicted that artificial superintelligence, which will be 10,000 times smarter than a human brain, will become a reality by 2035. Son emphasized that achieving this milestone will require hundreds of billions of dollars in investment. Additionally, he noted that the development of artificial superintelligence will necessitate significant resources, including 200 million chips and 400 gigawatts of power, which exceeds the current total electricity usage of the United States. Son also mentioned that cumulative capital expenditure in data centers and chips will reach $900 trillion in the future. He is currently saving tens of billions of dollars to contribute to this goal.
