Sir Alan Duncan Exonerated in Conservative Party Antisemitism Investigation, Addresses UK Policy
Jul 16, 2024, 11:22 AM
Sir Alan Duncan has been exonerated following a Conservative Party investigation into allegations of antisemitism stemming from comments he made in April on LBC. Duncan had called for fellow Conservatives Lord Polak, Lord Pickles, and Tom Tugendhat to face repercussions over their support of Israel. The exoneration comes with the revelation that no formal complaint was ever filed with the Conservative Campaign Headquarters (CCHQ). Duncan criticized his party, stating that 'money, improper influence, and the promotion of Israeli interests above our own have contributed to the destruction of the UK as an independent foreign policy.' He addressed the investigation and UK policy at a press conference organized by the International Center for Justice for Palestinians (ICJP).
