Russia to Launch Free mRNA Cancer Vaccine for Patients in Early 2025, Costs 300,000 Rubles per Dose

Russia has announced the development of a new mRNA-based cancer vaccine, which is set to be distributed free of charge to patients starting in early 2025. The vaccine, designed to treat cancer rather than prevent it, will be personalized for each patient, utilizing genetic material from their own tumors. According to Andrey Kaprin, the chief oncologist at the Ministry of Health, the vaccine will cost the state approximately 300,000 rubles per dose.
