Monkeypox, also known as Mpox, has been detected in the wastewater of two districts in San Francisco, California. This discovery comes shortly after the World Health Organization (WHO) declared monkeypox a global health emergency. Officials are currently investigating the presence of the virus in the city's wastewater. The detection was reported in the Oceanside district and another southeastern part of San Francisco.
