Jan 7, 2025, 07:50 AM
Samsung Electronics Co. is enhancing its premium television lineup with new AI-powered features under the Samsung Vision AI brand at CES 2025. The new TVs, equipped with an integrated AI processor in top-tier models, will be capable of searching the internet for information about on-screen content, such as identifying actors or products, providing real-time translation, and generating personalized background images. These capabilities will also analyze content to enhance colors, contrast, and optimize audio. SW Yong, head of Samsung's visual display business, emphasized that the company views TVs as interactive and intelligent companions that adapt to user needs. Samsung, the world's leading TV seller for nearly two decades, plans to collaborate with Microsoft Corp and Google to expand the capabilities of its Vision AI suite.
