Rodrigo Páez, Nephew of Caro Quintero, Extradited to U.S. by FGR

Rodrigo Páez, known as 'El R' and the nephew of infamous drug lord Caro Quintero, has been extradited to the United States (EU). The extradition was carried out by the Fiscalía General de la República (FGR) of Mexico, in compliance with the Extradition Treaty between Mexico and the U.S. Páez is wanted by the Federal District Court for Arizona on charges of criminal association and health-related crimes. Between 2017 and 2019, Páez was one of the leaders of a drug trafficking organization based in Caborca, Mexico.
