Robin DiAngelo, author of 'White Fragility', admitted her white privilege and paid $30 in cash reparations to a Black producer of the film 'Am I Racist?'. This event coincided with her 68th birthday. DiAngelo previously received a $12,750 speaking fee at the University of Wisconsin diversity forum in 2021, which was significantly higher than the $7,500 paid to the Black female keynote speaker, Austin Channing Brown. The incident is part of a film, with claims that Matt Walsh persuaded DiAngelo to make the payment on camera. DiAngelo has not apologized or taken responsibility for her plagiarism of POC authors.
