Cognizant Sues Infosys Over Alleged Trade Secret Theft

Cognizant TriZetto has filed a lawsuit against Infosys in a Texas federal court, accusing the Indian tech company of stealing trade secrets related to its healthcare insurance software. The lawsuit alleges that Infosys extracted data from Cognizant's databases to develop and market competing software. Infosys has denied all allegations and stated it will vigorously defend its position in court. The legal battle involves proprietary algorithms, codebases, and data models underpinning Cognizant's QNXT and TriZetto Facets software. Notably, Cognizant's CEO, Ravi Kumar, is a former Infosys executive.
