Georgia's ruling party, Georgian Dream, has initiated another impeachment process against the country's pro-Western President Salome Zurabishvili, citing her allegedly unauthorized European visits. The Speaker of Parliament, Shalva Papuashvili, announced that the case will be submitted to the Constitutional Court in about two weeks, before the parliamentary elections scheduled for October 26. This marks the second attempt to impeach the president over her international engagements. President Zurabishvili, in an interview with Pirveli TV, revealed that she has a prime ministerial candidate in mind for an opposition coalition government following the upcoming elections. She indicated plans to present this candidate soon.
