Macron Urges Ukraine for Realistic Territorial Talks as Conflict Enters Fourth Year

Speaking at the annual meeting of French ambassadors, Macron emphasized that there would be no 'quick and easy solution' to the ongoing war. He stressed that only Ukrainians can lead these discussions, while also calling on the United States to assist in changing the situation and encouraging Russia to negotiate. Macron warned that a Ukrainian capitulation would be detrimental to both Europeans and Americans, and that the credibility of the West would be compromised if it agreed to a compromise due to fatigue. This statement comes as U.S. President-elect Donald Trump, who has promised a swift end to the conflict, prepares to take office on January 20.
