OpenAI's Sora Video Generator Excludes EU and UK, Available in 137 Countries

OpenAI has announced that its new video generator, Sora, will not be available in the European Union (EU) and the United Kingdom (UK) at its launch. The company has updated its support page to list the countries where Sora will be available, excluding the EU, UK, China, and several embargoed or restricted countries. Sora will be available in 137 different countries. This decision could lead to a potential migration of users away from the continent if the EU continues its stringent AI policies. OpenAI has warned that accessing Sora from restricted countries could result in account suspension or blocking.
