NVIDIA Signs AI Deal with Vietnam, Acquires VinBrain from Vingroup

NVIDIA Corp. has entered into a significant partnership with the Vietnamese government, signing an AI cooperation agreement in Hanoi. The agreement was formalized in the presence of NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang and Vietnam's Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh. This partnership includes the establishment of an AI research and development center in Vietnam. Additionally, NVIDIA has announced the acquisition of VinBrain, a leading HealthTech firm based in Hanoi, which is funded by Vingroup, Vietnam's largest conglomerate with a market capitalization of around $16 billion. The moves are part of NVIDIA's broader strategy to expand its AI capabilities and presence in Southeast Asia.
