Norway has achieved a significant milestone in its transition to electric vehicles. For the first time, the number of electric passenger cars has overtaken the number of gasoline cars on Norwegian roads. According to the Norwegian Road Federation (OFV), there are now 754,303 fully electric cars compared to 753,905 petrol vehicles. This development is part of a broader trend in Norway, where 94.3% of all cars sold in August were electric. The total number of private cars in the country stands at 2.8 million.
