Nov 20, 2024, 01:00 PM
South Korea's intelligence agency has confirmed that North Korea has sent additional shipments of artillery and rocket launchers to Russia to support its war against Ukraine. Approximately 10,900 North Korean troops have been deployed to Kursk, with some already participating in battles. The deployment includes North Korean soldiers being assigned to Russia's airborne brigade and marine corps, where they have received training to counter drones. South Korean lawmakers have noted that this military support from North Korea to Russia marks a growing alliance between Pyongyang and Moscow. Reports also indicate that North Korea may send up to 100,000 soldiers to help Russia, and currently, around 12,000 troops are engaged.
