The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has authorized the marketing of four menthol-flavored e-cigarette products made by Altria's NJOY brand. This decision marks the first time menthol-flavored e-cigarettes have been approved by federal regulators. The agency indicated that these products could serve as less harmful alternatives for adult smokers. The products include two closed pods and two disposables, making them the first non-tobacco flavored e-cigarettes to be authorized.
