Former Bangor Headteacher Neil Foden Jailed for 17 Years for Sexual Abuse

Neil Foden, a former headteacher from Old Colwyn, has been sentenced to 17 years in prison for sexually abusing four girls over a four-year period. Foden was found guilty in May after a three-week trial at Mold Crown Court in North Wales. Despite complaints dating back to 2019, he continued his offenses until his arrest. Foden, who worked at a school in Bangor, showed no signs of contrition during sentencing and was described as 'domineering' and 'bombastic.' An independent review into his actions has been deemed insufficient, with calls for a public inquiry.
