Soyuz MS-25 Returns Russian Cosmonauts, NASA Astronaut to Earth After 374 Days in Space

Russian cosmonauts Oleg Kononenko and Nikolai Chub, along with NASA astronaut Tracy C. Dyson, have safely returned to Earth after their mission aboard the International Space Station (ISS). The Soyuz MS-25 spacecraft, carrying the trio, undocked from the ISS's Prichal module at 4:36am ET and landed in Kazakhstan at 7:59am ET on September 23, 2024. Kononenko and Chub set a new record for the longest continuous stay on the ISS, spending 374 days in space. This mission also marked Kononenko's fifth trip to orbit, bringing his total time in space to a record 1,111 days. Dyson completed a six-month mission, her third spaceflight, totaling 184 days in space. The landing was parachute-assisted.
