Meta Unveils 'Movie Gen' AI Model for Realistic Video and Audio Generation from Text Prompts

Meta Platforms Inc. has unveiled 'Movie Gen', a new artificial intelligence (AI) model capable of generating realistic video and audio clips from simple text prompts. The advanced AI tool can produce high-definition videos up to 16 seconds long and audio clips up to 45 seconds, synchronizing visuals with sound effects seamlessly. 'Movie Gen' offers capabilities such as text-to-video synthesis, photo-to-video conversion, video personalization, video editing, video-to-audio generation, and text-to-audio generation, allowing users to create videos from text, images, and articles. It can also edit existing videos or transform personal images into unique video content. While 'Movie Gen' represents a significant advancement in AI-driven media creation, Meta has not yet made the tool publicly available.
