Ukraine Attacks Moscow with 34 Drones, Forcing Closure of Three Airports
Nov 10, 2024, 10:57 AM
Ukraine launched its largest drone attack on Moscow since the war began in 2022, targeting the Russian capital with at least 34 drones. Russian authorities claimed that air defense systems intercepted 32 unmanned aerial vehicles approaching Moscow, with Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin confirming the interceptions. The attack resulted in the temporary closure of three major Moscow airports—Sheremetyevo, Vnukovo, and Domodedovo—as flights were diverted and operations suspended. At least one person was reported injured during the incident.
