Bharti Airtel Launches AI-Powered Network Solution for Free Real-Time Spam Detection
Sep 25, 2024, 07:17 AM
Bharti Airtel, India's second-largest telecom operator, has launched an AI-powered network solution designed to detect and combat spam calls and messages. This new system, which processes 1 trillion records in real-time, will provide real-time alerts to users about suspected spam calls and SMSes for free. This initiative is part of Airtel's effort to address the rampant issue of spam communications in India. The AI-powered solution is the first of its kind in India, and it aims to enhance user experience by significantly reducing the number of unwanted calls and messages. Airtel's new spam detection tool has been developed over the past year and will track 2.5 billion records to identify and alert users to potential spam, particularly those related to e-commerce.
