125 Dolphins Stranded Off Wellfleet, Cape Cod

More than 80 dolphins have been stranded off Cape Cod in a very difficult location, according to the International Fund for Animal Welfare. The number of stranded dolphins has since risen to 125, with the animals currently on a beach near Wellfleet, Massachusetts. The stranded dolphins are Atlantic white-sided dolphins, and the incident occurred during low tide. Stacey Hedman, director of communications for the International Fund for Animal Welfare, confirmed the stranding in Cape Cod waters.
