The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has conducted extensive raids at multiple locations in Ranchi, Jharkhand, uncovering a massive cash haul. The operations targeted the household of Sanjiv Lal, the personal secretary to Jharkhand Rural Development Minister Alamgir Alam. During the raids, authorities recovered significant amounts of cash from the residence of Lal's domestic help, with amounts reported between Rs 20 crore and over Rs 30 crore. Virendra K. Ram, the chief engineer at the Jharkhand Rural Development Department, has been arrested in connection with the case.
