No Messages Found on Attorney General Álvaro García Ortiz's Phone Between March 8 and March 14 in Ayuso Leak Investigation
Dec 19, 2024, 03:01 PM
The Guardia Civil has reported that no messages were found on the phone of Spain's Attorney General, Álvaro García Ortiz, related to the alleged data leak involving the partner of Isabel Díaz Ayuso. The investigation by the UCO indicated that all messages from the relevant period, specifically between March 8 and March 14, were deleted. Furthermore, the UCO has suggested that Moncloa, the Spanish government, had access to an email between Ayuso's partner's defense and the prosecution, which subsequently reached Juan Lobato and implicated several officials, including the former press chief of the PSOE and current Secretary of State. The findings raise questions about the involvement of state officials in the leak of sensitive information regarding Ayuso's partner.
