Richard Cohen, the husband of former 'TODAY' show anchor Meredith Vieira, passed away on Christmas Eve at the age of 76. Cohen, an Emmy-winning journalist who worked as a senior producer at CBS News and CNN, had been living with multiple sclerosis for over 50 years and had also survived two bouts of cancer. He was known for his advocacy for those with chronic illnesses. The couple, married for 38 years, shared three children. Cohen's death was announced on the 'TODAY' show, where it was noted that he was surrounded by family and love at the time of his passing.
