Chiefs' Hollywood Brown Hospitalized with Joint Dislocation
Aug 11, 2024, 01:21 AM
Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Marquise 'Hollywood' Brown suffered a sternoclavicular joint dislocation during a preseason game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The injury occurred after Brown caught the first pass of the game and subsequently left the field, clutching his shoulder. Chiefs' head coach Andy Reid confirmed the joint dislocation diagnosis and stated that Brown has been hospitalized for further evaluation. The injury is similar to one sustained by Tyreek Hill in 2019, which kept Hill out for four games. Brown's availability for the start of the regular season is now uncertain.
