NYC Mayor Adams Launches GreenHOUSE Fund to Help Affordable Housing Projects Save Green

New York City Mayor Eric Adams has launched the GreenHOUSE Fund, an initiative aimed at assisting affordable housing projects in meeting Local Law 97 requirements. The fund will provide financial assistance to building owners for emissions reduction projects, helping them electrify and decarbonize their buildings. Deputy Mayors Meera Joshi and Maria Torres-Springer, along with city officials from NYC Buildings, NYC Housing, and NYC Climate, were present in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, to discuss the program's implementation. The initiative is also expected to help building owners save green, according to a press release.
