Lara Trump Withdraws from Florida Senate Consideration, Teases 'Big Announcement' in January

Lara Trump, daughter-in-law of President-elect Donald Trump and former Republican National Committee co-chair, announced on Saturday that she is withdrawing her name from consideration to replace outgoing U.S. Senator Marco Rubio of Florida. After an incredible amount of thought and contemplation, she stated that she is removing herself from contention for the Senate seat. Lara Trump expressed her passion for public service and hinted at a 'big announcement' coming in January. Rubio is expected to vacate his seat to serve as Secretary of State in the incoming administration. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis will appoint Rubio's replacement.
