Kyiv has restored two-thirds of its generating capacity following Russian missile strikes on energy facilities, according to Petro Panteleev, Deputy Head of the Kyiv City Military Administration. The strikes had damaged more than half of the city's generating capacity. Additionally, three transformer power substations in Kyiv, located in the Goloseevsky and Shevchenkivskyi districts, have been completely destroyed or damaged, as reported by DTEK. Most buildings will be powered by backup sources in the near future. The death toll in Kyiv has risen to nine, with a total of 20 people killed across Ukraine due to the attacks.
