Kristaps Porzingis Suffers Serious Left Leg Injury, Day-to-Day for NBA Finals Game 3
Jun 11, 2024, 06:30 PM
Boston Celtics center Kristaps Porzingis has suffered a torn medial retinaculum allowing dislocation of the posterior tibialis tendon in his left leg. The injury occurred at 3:27 of the third quarter during Game 2 of the NBA Finals on Sunday. The team has announced that the injury is unrelated to his prior right calf injury. Porzingis is currently listed as day-to-day, and his availability for Game 3 against the Dallas Mavericks remains uncertain. Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla described the injury as serious and stated that the decision on Porzingis' participation will be left to the medical team. Porzingis is reportedly doing everything he can to be ready to play.
