Kenya Confirms Second Mpox Case in Ugandan Truck Driver at Malaba Border

Kenya's Ministry of Health has confirmed a second case of Mpox in the country. The patient, a Ugandan truck driver, was identified at the Malaba One Stop Border Post in Busia County. The driver had recently traveled from the Democratic Republic of Congo, which is the epicenter of the outbreak. Health officials have tested 42 samples so far and screened 426,438 travelers across the country at various ports of entry. Health PS Mary Muthoni provided this information.
