The United Kingdom's newly appointed Defence Secretary, John Healey, has announced a significant new military aid package for Ukraine during his first official visit to Odesa. Less than 48 hours after taking office, Healey met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and outlined the details of the support package. The aid includes 250,000 rounds of 50 caliber ammunition, 90 Brimstone anti-tank missiles, 50 small military boats, 40 de-mining vehicles, 10 AS-90 artillery guns, and 61 bulldozers. This package, which includes precision-guided missiles, is fast tracked to arrive in the next hundred days. This move underscores the UK's commitment to bolstering Ukraine's defense capabilities amidst ongoing tensions in the region.
