Jesus Arellano, a 22-year-old man, has been arrested in Katy, Texas, for slashing the tires of over 30 neighborhood cars. The Harris County Sheriff's Office reported that Arellano faces felony charges following the incidents, which were captured on surveillance video. The tire slashing spree affected residents in the Westfield Village neighborhood, with some residents reporting damage to multiple tires on their vehicles. The arrest came after more than a dozen reports of tire slashing were made to the Sheriff's Office, with the incidents occurring around noon on Thursday. Arellano is charged with six initial criminal mischief charges.
