US Figure Skaters to Receive Gold Medals in Paris on August 7 After CAS Ruling

The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has ruled on the Kamila Valieva doping case, allowing US figure skaters to finally receive their Olympic gold medals from the 2022 team event. The medals will be awarded during a ceremony in Paris on August 7, 2024, exactly 2 1/2 years after the competition concluded in Beijing. The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has confirmed the ceremony, which will also see Japanese skaters receive their silver medals.
