Trump Says JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon Will Not Join Administration
Nov 14, 2024, 07:22 PM
On November 14, 2024, President-elect Donald Trump announced on Truth Social that JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon will not be invited to join his administration. Trump stated, "I respect Jamie Dimon, of JPMorgan Chase, greatly, but he will not be invited to be a part of the Trump Administration. I thank Jamie for his outstanding service to our Country!" This announcement follows speculation that Dimon could be considered for a cabinet position, such as Treasury Secretary. In response, Dimon remarked, "First of all, I wish the president well, and thank you, it's a very nice note. But I just want to tell the president also, I haven't had a boss in 25 years and I'm not about ready to start."
