Ja’Marr Chase Tops 1,500 Yards, 16 TDs, Sets Bengals Record, Nears Triple Crown
Dec 22, 2024, 10:58 PM
Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase continued his record-breaking season by surpassing his own franchise single-season receiving record, reaching 1,463 yards after Sunday's game. He became the first Bengal in franchise history to record over 1,500 receiving yards in a season. Over his past five games, Chase has amassed 47 receptions for 696 yards and eight touchdowns, the most receiving yards in any five-game span by a receiver this season. With 16 touchdown receptions this season, he is on pace to have the third-most touchdown receptions in NFL history by a player in their first four seasons, trailing only Hall of Famers Randy Moss and Jerry Rice. Chase is now one of only three players, alongside Moss and Cooper Kupp, to record at least 100 receptions, 1,500 receiving yards, and 16 touchdown receptions in a single season. He is also on pace to win the receiving triple crown, leading the league in receptions, receiving yards, and touchdowns.
