Israel Prepares for Potential Ground Invasion of Lebanon, Mobilizes Two Reserve Brigades

Israel is preparing for a potential ground invasion of Lebanon due to escalating threats from Hezbollah. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) Northern Command Chief, Maj. Gen. Ori Gordin, emphasized the need for the military to be strongly prepared for such an operation. The IDF has mobilized two reserve brigades to the northern front as part of these preparations. Israeli military officials have indicated that recent airstrikes on Hezbollah targets, which have hit over 280 sites, are aimed at facilitating a possible ground offensive. The conflict has intensified following Hezbollah's missile strike on Tel Aviv, prompting Israel to enhance its military readiness. Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi has also announced preparations for a ground operation.
