China's Fourth Batch of 10 Astronauts to Train for Lunar Missions

China's fourth batch of astronauts, including two payload specialists from Hong Kong and Macao SARs, will carry out space station operations and manned lunar missions, according to the China Manned Space Agency (CMSA). The training for these missions began in August and includes piloting moon rovers. CMSA spokesperson Lin Xiqiang highlighted that the astronauts will not only participate in China Space Station missions but also future lunar missions. The fourth batch consists of 10 candidates, including 8 space pilots. Additionally, China is engaging in discussions to select and train astronauts from partner nations for its space station missions. The announcement was made on Tuesday.
