Caitlin Clark has been named the 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year. Clark, the #1 overall pick, had an outstanding season, averaging 19.2 points per game (PPG), 5.7 rebounds per game (RPG), and leading the league with 8.4 assists per game (APG). She is the first rookie to ever lead the league in assists. Clark received 66 out of 67 votes, just one vote shy of a unanimous decision. Angel Reese received the other vote. Previous unanimous winners include Aliyah Boston, A’ja Wilson, Elena Delle Donne, and Tina Charles. Clark also set records for the most points, assists, and three-point field goals made by a rookie in WNBA history. Her performance helped lead the Indiana Fever to their first 20-win season since 2015.
