GAC and Huawei Launch Fifth Premium EV Brand with Tech Expertise

GAC Group and Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd. have signed a strategic agreement to jointly create a new premium smart New Energy Vehicle (NEV) brand. This move will expand GAC's portfolio, which already includes Trumpchi, Aion, and Hyptec. The collaboration marks Huawei's fifth co-developed EV brand, following partnerships with Seres (Aito), Chery (Luxeed), BAIC (Stelato), and JAC (Maextro). Huawei's HIMA technology is equipping traditional ICE incumbents to design competitive EVs, extending the shelf life of traditional carmakers by leveling the playing field on technology.
