VisitChina Resumes Unlimited Multi-Entry Hong Kong Visas for Shenzhen Residents from December 1
Nov 29, 2024, 02:48 AM
China is easing travel restrictions by resuming multiple-entry visas for Shenzhen residents to visit Hong Kong, effective December 1, according to an announcement by the National Immigration Administration on Friday. The new policy allows residents with Shenzhen hukou and residence permits unlimited visits to Hong Kong within a one-year period, with each stay not exceeding seven days, replacing the previous one-trip-per-week limit. Similar adjustments will be made for Zhuhai residents visiting Macau, including a 'one-week-one-entry' policy and a multiple-entry policy for the Guangdong-Macao In-depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin. Beginning January 1, 2025, residents will need to use new electronic travel permits. These measures aim to facilitate cross-border travel, boost tourism, and breathe new life into Hong Kong's economy.
